Nurse Rettig has been applying for the Body Venture exhibit for 10 years, and the we recently learned we that our application has been accepted, and it's finally coming to Ravenwood. Body Venture is an exciting tour of the human body featuring engaging, experiential education activities for grades 1-5. Students will tour a 35-foot by 40-foot walk-through exhibit representing the human body and receive a ten minute presentation on each section.
The Body Venture arrives on Wednesday January, 16th, and we will need a lot of volunteers to make this event successful. 15 volunteers are needed to set-up the exhibit on Tuesday, January 15 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. 26 additional volunteers are needed on Wednesday, January 16 to present at each stop. Finally, 15 people are required to take-down the exhibit on Wednesday afternoon.
Half-days or full-days are available. Due to the length of shifts and supervision required we cannot allow younger siblings to accompany volunteers. If you have any questions, please contact Nurse Rettig.
