Principal Named for Millbrooke Elementary

The principal for Millbrooke Elementary School has been named. Stephanie Dancso, current principal at Central Elementary School, will help facilitate the opening of Millbrooke in August 2014. Millbrooke is the district’s 35th elementary school and is located near 119th Street and Lone Elm Road. Dancso has been in education and with the district for 29 years. She has been principal at Central since 2003. Prior to that, she served as the District School Plus Coordinator and taught at Meadow Lane and Westview elementary schools. She will be organizing activities with the Millbrooke community in the coming months to get to know the students and families. District administration will work to identify a principal for Central Elementary this spring.

“We are thrilled to have Mrs. Dancso lead the opening of Millbrook Elementary School,” said Brent Yeager, Executive Director of General Administration/Elementary Programs. “She is an outstanding educator who will work closely with students, staff and the community to shape the culture and educational environment of the newest member of the Olathe Public Schools family.”
