A Message from the Manager of Safety and Security

As you know, the safety and security of students, staff and buildings is a priority for us in the Olathe Public Schools. We are grateful to our parents for being partners in this effort. Thank you to all of our parents and visitors for using our buzzer system and showing your identification to gain access to the building. One reminder: once you have been buzzed into the building, please do not hold the door for another visitor behind you, unless they have shown their identification through the camera system. We know that our first instincts are to be helpful and courteous, but we need to make sure everyone has gained access properly by showing identification. It takes all of us working together to create a safe and secure learning environment for our students.
